Music for Ukraine - Day 12
Let’s handle fear today. May the spirit of this psalm comfort all who feel
themselves in danger, hiding them “in the secret place of His dwelling.”

The Lord Is My Light
Words from Psalm 27
Music by Craig Courtney
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear? Of whom shall I be afraid?
When evildoers assail me,
When adversaries attack me,
They stumble and fall.
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear? Of whom shall I be afraid?
Though an army besiege me,
Though war break out against me,
My heart will not fear.
One thing I ask, one thing I seek of the Lord:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To gaze upon the beauty of the Lord
And to seek Him in his temple.
For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His dwelling,
And He will set me high upon a rock.
Then shall my head be exalted
Above my enemies round about me;
I will sacrifice with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make melody to the Lord.
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear? Of whom shall I be afraid?
The Lord is my light and my salvation!
